The Hawaii Adaptive Surf Team (HAST) is a program of Accessurf. HAST originated in 2015 with 11 members from the islands of Kauai, Oahu and Hawaii. Since Its inauguration, HAST has helped develop over 15 competitive adaptive surfers, including Maui, by providing over 200 hours of coaching support and skills. Our HAST Competitive surfers have entered world surfing competitions such as Haleiwa Inte

rnational Open, USA National Surf Competition, and the International Surf Association Competition, and have achieved success by taking 2nd and 3rd place as individual competitors. The future of HAST looks to build on our successes through broader recruitment, expanded organization and increased participation in international surfing competitions.
