My mission and pledge to the citizens of Spalding County and the employees of the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department when elected Sheriff is to return confidence, accountability, pride, and leadership to the agency; reduce crime through better management of resources, more efficient manpower allocation, the use of technology, and the use of both traditional and non-traditional approaches to crim

e suppression; to take the lead in promoting interdepartmental cooperation with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies; respond to both citizen and employee concerns in an effective and timely manner; implement standard operating policies and procedures so employees will have guidance and equal accountability; provide opportunities for all employees, both certified and civilian, to obtain training and skills that will lead to a more professional agency while building the future leaders that the citizens of Spalding County and the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department need and deserve.
