Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy you flowers. 🌸
Here are a few ways to make sure you’re spending that money wisely:
1. Get off the Pinterest algorithm.
Most Pinterest weddings are $100K+ weddings, so look for inspiration in your favorite places, restaurants, brands, travels, home, and local vendors, too. Your wedding should feel like you, not the internet’s most-pinned wedding. Demand also increases costs across the board, so if calla lilies or burgundy anthurium don’t resonate with *you* skip them and save your $! They are super chic, though ;)
2. You don’t need a $10K floral budget to work with a florist.
Our full-service minimum is $3K, and our a-la-carte pre-styled palettes start at $750. Great for micro weddings, rehearsal dinners, DIY mixes, or couples who want professional flowers without a full floral installation.
3. Repurpose, repurpose, repurpose.
Not everything can or should be moved, but we can often design pieces to have a second life or find an alternative that works just as beautifully.
4. Greenery + candles aren’t automatically cheaper.
Sometimes they are, sometimes they really aren’t. Ask us what will actually give you the most impact for your budget rather than assuming a certain “look” is the budget option.
5. Tell us your actual budget.
We ask so we can maximize it, not so we can find a way to spend $2K more. Knowing your number lets us show you where to splurge, where to scale back, and how to get the most impact.
6. Hot take: skip the corsages.
Give Mom a little nosegay instead. It photographs beautifully, she can hold it when she wants to, and she gets to wear whatever she wants. And if Dad gets a boutonnière while Mom gets nothing... good luck, babe. 😂
7. Trust your vendors.
If you’re hiring us, you’re hiring our eye! Give us the things you love and let us help turn them into something cohesive, personal, and very much not copy-paste.
Save this for when you’re planning your flowers 💌
