Cross City Correctional Institution recruiters had a great time attending the Disaster Preparedness & Community Resource Expo this weekend at the Suwannee River Fair Pavilion!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to learn more about career opportunities with the Florida Department of Corrections. We enjoyed meeting members of the community, answering questions about the hiring process, and sharing information about becoming part of Team FDC.

Last week, Recruitment Sergeant Ashley Riley and Officer Hammock had the opportunity to attend the Youth Career Expo in Levy County, connecting with students and sharing what a career in corrections is all about.

From discussing daily responsibilities to highlighting the training and growth opportunities within the Florida Department of Corrections, they enjoyed engaging with future professionals and answering questions about the path to becoming a Correctional Officer.
