On behalf of the Miami Finance Forum, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Alejandro Piekarewicz, Elise Piekarewicz and Taylor Aikins, along with the entire team at The Tips Golf, for opening their doors to our community and collaborating with us on such a memorable evening.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt intentional—the beautiful space, incredible food, warm hospitality, energy and ambience. It created exactly the kind of environment where people could relax, connect, laugh and genuinely enjoy being together.
And the vibe? Exceptional.
What I especially loved about The Tips is that it goes far beyond golf. It is about community, hospitality and connection. Whether you are an experienced golfer, have never picked up a club, or simply want a great place to spend time with friends, colleagues or clients, there is something incredibly welcoming about the experience.
To Alejandro, Elise and Taylor: thank you for your generosity, your hospitality and for sharing what you have created with our community. You should be incredibly proud. There is so much thought behind The Tips, and it shows in every detail.
I also want to extend a very special thank you to everyone who joined us.
To our Miami Finance Forum members who continue to show up, support our organization and invest in this community—thank you. Your continued engagement is what allows us to keep building something meaningful.
To those who attended an MFF event for the very first time—welcome. I hope you left with a new connection, a great conversation and a sense of what this community is all about. I sincerely hope it will be the first of many evenings with us.
And to our Board of Directors and everyone who works behind the scenes to support the Forum, thank you. The strength of an organization is ultimately reflected in the people willing to give their time, relationships and energy to it, and I remain incredibly grateful for yours.
Last night was a wonderful reminder of why we do this.
As Chair of the Miami Finance Forum and Founder & CEO of phoenix Pro Connect, I have the privilege of spending much of my professional life bringing people together. At phoenix Pro Connect, we connect organizations with exceptional talent. Through the Miami Finance Forum, we create opportunities for leaders across our financial and business community to connect with one another.
The common denominator is simple: relationships matter.
The right introduction can lead to a new hire, a new client, a new opportunity, a partnership—or sometimes simply a relationship worth having.
That is why evenings like this matter.
Yes, we bring together leaders from across Miami’s financial and business community, but ultimately, we are building relationships. The conversations, introductions and friendships that happen in rooms like this are what make the Miami Finance Forum special—and that same belief in the power of meaningful connections is deeply embedded in the work we do every day at phoenix Pro Connect.
And to my broader Miami network: if you haven’t experienced The Tips Golf yet, put it on your list. Go play. Enjoy the food. Have a drink. Bring friends, colleagues or clients. Even if golf isn’t your thing, I think you’ll quickly understand why this place is special.
Alejandro, Elise, Taylor, our MFF Board, our members, our first-time guests and everyone who joined us—thank you for making last night one to remember.
This is community at its best.
