Volunteers are welcome in all service and program departments including Refugee Resettlement, English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, After-School programming and Employment services. Other opportunities include translation (Arabic, Burmese, and Nepali dialects), grant writing, fundraising, donations organizing and special event coordination. We also offer a variety of internships througho

ut the year for college students seeking school credit or anyone else looking for rewarding experience with a non-profit organization. About ECAC:

The Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago (ECAC) is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to serving the cultural, psychological and socio-economic needs of refugees and immigrants in and around metropolitan Chicago. In addition to assisting native Ethiopians, ECAC also supports other African, Asian, Middle Eastern and Eastern European refugee populations who seek its services. Contact:
