Honestly guys, I just want to read today! I’m really selective on the partials that I request, and so I am pausing going through the queries. I love reading it’s one of my favorite parts of the job and I absolutely just need to print off some paper, hold it close, and get engrossed in a new world or a new character! Also, I forgot to mention that if you missed query me the incredible Kaitlin Des Roches | Literary Agent will be open for queries next week.

Quick (amazing) update: I am open for two more days for queries, and have received over 600. Writers are truly amazing and I love this industry. I have sent out three or four partial request from what I’ve gotten through so far as as well as requested one full manuscript this morning. Yay!! 🫶🖤

The queries are already coming in, and I am so excited. I have started looking through them, and the stories are incredible! I will be open for a week, until the end of August. You can submit through the STA website, the link is in my bio.

Y’all have spoken and I am going to be open up for queries on August 24th through the end of the month, my full manuscript wish list can be found on the storyteller website and the link in my bio.

The portal will open on the 24th and I will not be reviewing anything sent via email or DM.

ALREADY SELF-PUBLISHED authors and NON-FICTION authors I would love to be queried by you as well. Your query letters can be heavily about your existing platform and books along with what’s next.

Hey authors! I am so excited to share that I am planning to open back up for query submissions. I will be open to debut authors and already published authors in both fiction and non-fiction with more details on my wish list to come. With that being said, is it better for you guys if I open at the end of August, September or October? You might be surprised that this is the first thing that stands out to me as a literary agent when I’m reviewing inquiries. I had one acquiring editor before making an offer or email me back with just “I love that title“! Your title should signal genre, themes, and tropes, instantly agents, editors, and readers.
