New unemployment data just dropped from the Bureau of Labor Statistics—and it depends how you read it.
The national rate held steady at 4.3% in March. Year over year, only two states (Ohio and Iowa) saw meaningful improvement. Month over month, just three states—Florida, Tennessee, and Texas—experienced notable increases.
Steady… but we wouldn't call it momentum.
That said, we *have* been seeing a slight increase in jobs here at Daley And Associates for April and May, so optimism for the next BLS report is still in the cards.
