PHILANTHROPY SPOTLIGHT: SIGMA NU💛🖤

“Sigma Nu Iota’s philanthropy is Hope for the Warriors, a national nonprofit supporting post-9/11 veterans, service members, and their families transitioning back to civilian life. Our chapter stays active year-round through service events around Birmingham, Step Sing, and volunteering at veteran events however we can.”

“This past week, partnered with to host a self-defense class for women in Greek life. We are extremely grateful for Chief Taylor and Officer Cooper for the time they took to teach us practical, real world skills that could help us respond effectively in uncomfortable or even unsafe situations. The initiative was designed to build confidence, strengthen situational awareness and equip us with the practical physical defense skills. Each woman who attended the class was also gifted a personal safety alarm, adding another resource to her toolbox if she should ever find herself in a situation when it may be needed.💛”

PHILANTHROPY SPOTLIGHT: CHI OMEGA❤️💛

“Chi Omega is proud to support its national philanthropy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, working to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Chi Omega’s philanthropy event, Swishes for Wishes, raises money for Make-A-Wish Alabama. Alongside this annual event, Chi Omega’s continues its support through a commitment to making a real impact and spreading hope. Chi Omega believes in service and bringing joy to children and families when they need it most.“

PHILANTHROPY SPOTLIGHT- ALPHA TAU OMEGA‼️

Alpha Tau Omega partners with A4One, a ministry in Birmingham that provides athletic training and community for those in need. ATO’s philanthropy event, Hot Ones for A4One, raises money towards A4One’s mission to embody refuge and access for youth in downtown Birmingham through athletics and fitness. Alongside the signature event, brothers of Alpha Tau Omega continuously buy in to the ministry at A4One through presence in the community and service to the physical building.

We are so proud of the brothers of ATO and their continued effort towards bettering our campus and community!🩵
