Confidence isn’t the absence of self-doubt — it’s the transformation of it. ✨

No matter what’s trending, confidence is almost always the quiet force underneath our biggest challenges and pivots. We just don’t always recognize it as the root cause.

I’m coaching at the Women in Tech Regatta in Seattle (April 28–30). Don’t miss the chance to book your 25 min session. Just you, your wisdom, and a little clarity — on whatever challenge or big move is on your mind.

Relationships are like Legos🧱🤝

Today marks 13 years of marriage 👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻— and yes, my husband got me Lego 🌸. He knows the real ones won’t survive me🙃

But honestly? They’re the perfect metaphor for what 13 years actually looks like. Not always polished. Sometimes pieces fall. Sometimes you rebuild the whole thing into something you didn’t expect — and it turns out even better.

The real work was never in the building. It’s always been in the rebuilding. Together. And as a coach, I see the same thing play out at work every day. The best teams, th e strongest leaders — they’re not the ones who never break. They’re the ones who know how to repair, reconnect, and start over when they need to.
That’s a skill. And it’s learnable.

So here’s to 13 years, Lego flowers, and the beautiful, imperfect, totally worth-it work of building something that lasts. 🥂

And apparently… the start of a Lego flower collection. Some lessons come with perks💐

This year’s International 💜Women’s Day theme💜, “Give to Gain,” is one of my favorites. In many Latin and Hispanic cultures, women are raised to give endless. Service is powerful and deeply rooted in who we are. And while it brings many gifts, it can also compound and work against us when we’re not part of what we’re protecting.

That’s why this year feels especially meaningful. We’re joining forces with and through a series of workshops aligned with the IWD theme. Our goal is to transform the act of “giving” — whether time, knowledge, resources, or visibility — into an intentional multiplier that accelerates gender equality, honoring 115 years of collective struggle with a renewed commitment to mutual support and active contribution.

What excites me most is centering the theme “Prioritize Yourself First.” Only from that grounded place can we transition into “Gibe Back Through Sponsorship” and build a legacy of women who lift others as they open new paths.

📌Stay tuned for details on how to join this virtual series from anywhere, March 24–26!

“Maybe I’m more a coach than a player”

This stayed with me yesterday while listening to in conversation with . She used it in a different context, but it instantly reminded me of a theme I see often in leadership.

There’s a moment when the shift is no longer about working harder or doing more. It becomes about leading with influence, setting boundaries that protect our energy, and finding the clarity to reconnect with what actually matters.

Hearing Malala talk about her new 📖 “Finding My Way” was a good reminder that the path to impact is rarely linear. Her journey meant sitting with the darkest moments and redefining who she was becoming — not stepping back, but stepping into a different kind of impact.

Maybe the shift isn’t about choosing between coach or player — but choosing the version of ourselves we’re ready to grow into, and having the courage to grow differently than we imagined.

Every story can shift perspectives — and every local action can spark global impact. ✨

This year’s Lean In Networks Leaders Conference gathered 100+ 🌎 leaders redefining ambition through empathy and impact.

In a world of constant change, one truth stood out: real leadership takes courage, clarity, and collaboration. Disruption isn’t a phase — it’s the environment we lead in.

As I reflect on the work ahead with the Lean In Seattle Network, I’m energized by what’s possibilities to shape what comes next!

Today we celebrate Día de Mu***os 💀— a tradition deeply close to my heart. It’s a moment to honor those who came before us, whose stories, love, and legacy continue to shape who we are.

Every year, my family builds an ofrenda 🕯️to remember them and to share this beautiful ritual with the next generation. These moments remind me — both as a coach and as a mom — that reflection, connection, and gratitude are what keep us truly grounded.

And then there’s my favorite Catrina — one of my favorite symbol’s as she embodies both elegance and innocence, representing the duality of life and death. She reminds us that beneath it all, we are equal — and invites us to face mortality with humor, grace, and dignity.

✨ To all who came before us — thank you for lighting the path we walk today.
