The vision for Permjobs.com developed in the winter of 2012 after a Physician Staffing Agency I worked with transitioned into a job board. Prior to that experience, VISTA Staffing Solutions was my introduction to working with hospital recruiters, specialty medical groups and Hospital administrators to provide medical care to patients in their communities. Locum Tenens was my focus for many years and through that experience I became very accustomed to one question from the Physicians I spoke with about the vacant physician positions I described to them: Is this a Locum or a Permjob? My vision for Permjobs.com is to provide a way for Physicians who are seeking Permanent opportunities with communities who need permanent medical providers. Permjobs.com intends to partner with Hospital and community leaders to work on solving the physician staffing shortage by truly partnering with the community to nurture future medical providers to join in service to their communities.
