I’m excited to share that I’ll be attending the Rocket Leadership Conference at my home church, The Faith Center, in Tucker, Georgia. Stepping out of my comfort zone for this is important because one of my passions for A Second Look Career Development, LLC is to expand our career counseling programs within church settings.

At this conference, I’ll have the opportunity to meet and learn from some incredible pastors and leaders from around the country. This is a pivotal step toward my goal of helping God’s people secure careers they’re passionate about, advance in these roles, and negotiate the salaries they deserve—ultimately empowering them to become lenders, not borrowers.

I’m thrilled to be surrounded by the very leaders of the congregations I aspire to impact. I look forward to gaining deeper insights into the career development needs of church communities and using my skills to help them thrive.

Today, I had the privilege of speaking with some truly remarkable students in the Future Executives Initiative Inc. - tomorrow’s leaders in the making. As I stood before them, I was struck not only by their ambition and potential but also by the incredible dedication of the organization’s leaders who are deeply invested in their success.

We dove into topics like career development and contract negotiation prep, knowing that these young professionals will soon be making big decisions and earning significant salaries. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and hunger for knowledge.
