We are so bad at maintaining hit songs in South Sudan. A song becomes a hit today and is forgotten tomorrow because we always rush to the next trend. We need longevity. We need to keep promoting and supporting successful records for months, not weeks, so our artistes can earn from their work and build sustainable careers. A hit song shouldn't just make noise, it should create value for the artist long after its release.
