Let your imagination fly for a moment.

What is the one thing you want to look at one day and say, I cannot believe I live in a world where this is true?

Diseases cured. Families reconnected. Food and clean water for everyone. Poverty gone. Holidays on the moon.

I think we have lost the art of imagining like that.

We are living with the most capable technology human beings have ever built, and we are mostly using it to do last year's work a little faster.

A bionic business is not a company with more AI bolted on. It is one that dares to imagine a bigger future, then uses these tools to build it.

So let your imagination fly. What is the world you want to help build?

Told to retire at 70, Faisal Abdallah stepped down as CEO and asked for the HR job.

Why? As he told me on the latest Elephants in the Boardroom podcast: "The single most important driver in business is the human being."

The ageing grey elephant isn't only about who leaves. It's about the experience we throw away when they do.

We are living and working longer than any generation before us, yet most organisations still run on a retirement model built for a world that no longer exists. That is the grey elephant. Big, obvious, and largely ignored.

The Otter Challenge. Part of a bigger goal I've set for myself this year, keeping healthy and making space for the things that fill you back up.

I choose to do hard things, so that the hard things I don't choose feel easier.

An abandoned SpaceX rocket crashed into the Moon in August 2026. As far as we know, it's the 11th human-made object to hit the Moon since the 1990s. Nobody planned it. Space junk has to go somewhere.

There are thousands of satellites over our heads right now, and we're on our way to hundreds of thousands, then millions, mostly so a few more people get better Wi-Fi coverage.

That leaves us with three growing problems: debris falling back to Earth onto people and property, working satellites getting taken out by the junk around them, and a night sky so crowded with light that our children and grandchildren might never see the stars the way we did.

We did this to our rivers and oceans and only acted once the mess was too big. We still have time to get it right with space. This week's Throw Forward Thursday is about acting now, before the sky fills up for good. Watch it on YouTube.

Here's something I can't stop thinking about.

Every generation before us has looked up at the night sky and seen the same stars. We might be the last one who does.

Last week, the wine that landed within 72 seconds of a time I was promised that morning.

But the wine was never really the point.

When you feel that kind of precision, the instinct is to copy it. Do the same thing, cheaper. A bit faster. A bit better.

That is a trap. The world is being reconfigured, not tidied up. And you do not win it by doing the old thing more efficiently. Everyone is already doing that. It gets you to the start line, not the front.

Babylonstoren did not deliver wine slightly faster than the next farm. They rebuilt what a delivery is.

So put this to your team: what would you build if you could not compete on doing the same thing better?
