Video Requirements:
Format:
β’ Record a 3-5 second video of your child (age 5 β 10 years old) holding up a
placard.
β’ The placard should display any message based on the elements of Life-
Saving Rules (LSR) or HSSE Rules and Commitments (HRC).
β’ Ensure the video is recorded in landscape (horizontal) mode only.
Safety Tips for Surroundings While Recording
To ensure a safe and smooth recording, please be mindful of your surroundings:
Choose a Safe & Stable Location
β’ Record in a flat, stable area to prevent tripping hazards.
β’ Avoid recording near stairs, balconies, pools, roads, or any moving
vehicles.
Check for Potential Hazards
β’ Ensure the floor is dry to prevent slips.
β’ Keep electrical cables, sharp objects, or breakable items out of the way.
β’ Watch for pets or other distractions that could cause an accident.
Good Lighting, No Glare
β’ Record in a well-lit area, but avoid direct sunlight that could cause glare.
β’ Ensure no harsh shadows block the visibility of the placard.
Keep a Safe Distance from Furniture & Walls
β’ Allow enough space so that your child doesnβt bump into objects while
holding the placard.
Supervise Your Child at All Times
β’ An adult should always be present to guide and ensure safety during
recording.
Avoid Outdoor Risks (If Recording Outside)
β’ Do not record near busy roads, construction sites, or water.
β’ Be cautious of windy conditions that could knock over objects.
Minimize Background Noise & Distractions
β’ Choose a quiet location so the focus remains on your child and their
message.
