If a company decides not to hire someone, they should at least explain why—so candidates can improve. The lack of transparency is more painful than the rejection itself.
To all hiring managers and HR professionals—please remember that behind every application is a person who has put in time, effort, and hope. If a candidate isn't moving forward, help them understand why. Interviews should be a two-way process, not a guessing game.
