Under the leadership of PGEN JOSE MELENCIO CORPUZ NARTATEZ JR., Chief of the Philippine National Police, and in line with his PNP FOCUSED AGENDA on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, personnel of the PNP-EOD/K9 Group CECU Cotabato promptly proceeded to the GSIS Building located along Gov. Gutierrez Avenue, Cotabato City, in response to a reported unexploded ordnance.

Upon arrival at the scene, the team conducted a comprehensive tactical assessment and positively identified the item as one (1) High-Explosive (HE) rifle gr***de.

The recovered ordnance is currently under the custody of CECU Cotabato for safekeeping and proper disposition in strict accordance with established EOD safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Demonstrating unwavering commitment to public safety, PNP-EOD/K9 Group personnel successfully conducted a disposal operation of 269 recovered and surrendered Unexploded Ordnances (UXOs), Explosive Remnants of War (ERWs), and other explosive materials from the CALABARZON area at CERAB, Crow Valley, Capas, Tarlac.

This operation reflects the Group’s continuing mission to eliminate explosive threats and ensure safer communities through professionalism, precision, and dedication to duty.

Under the leadership of PGEN JOSE MELENCIO CORPUZ NARTATEZ JR, Chief, Philippine National Police, and in line with his focused agenda on managing police operations, effective resource management, morale and welfare, integrity monitoring, and strengthened community support, PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO JR, Acting Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, personally conducted a Site Visitation and Inspection of the ongoing construction of the PNP-EOD/K9 Headquarters Building located at RECU NCR Compound, NCRPO, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The visit aimed to closely monitor the progress of the project and ensure that all construction activities are aligned with approved plans and standards.

As of the latest update, the project has reached an overall accomplishment rate of 87% completion.

Scope of ongoing works include:
• Electrical installation
• Exterior and interior finishing
• Installation of elevator wall tiles

The activity followed by a brief talk to the men, emphasizing the importance of discipline, the morale and welfare of personnel, and the continuous practice of Good Deeds as the foundation of professionalism, integrity, and public trust.
