Crayfishing in Australia

Currently looking for drug free cray fishermen for opportunity in Australia.
Mid November to February stint with opportunity if all goes well to continue.

Must have references and fishing experience.

Have a fill in roll for approximately 3 weeks for Purse Seine boat fishing out of Port Lincoln. Fishing Sardines/Pilchers.

VISA APPLICATIONS TIMEFRAME

Anyone looking to do their working/holiday be prepared that the Australian Government is reassessing their immigration policy. They have put a hold on some countries applications.

They haven't done this for the British due to trade deal both countries have however the timeframe of applications has blown out. Have a couple guys who have waited a month. Prawns in South Australia start November and I have started having interest from boats. If you have contacted me in the past about this you might want to apply for visa very soon. If you are interested in this option check out the Australian Home Affairs site (from a previous post) and then apply.

Congratulations to Robbie Young from Scotland. Robbie was keen to do a working/holiday to Australia and continue working in the fishing industry. Have arranged him a job on a crayfishing boat off the coast of Tasmania.

Visa Application Time Frame for Australia

This blows out from July until at least October due to Australian Home Affairs resetting every July. This means countries with ballot systems start again and a large amount of applications are submitted.
If you are looking to head down for Australian Summer for the prawns or other jobs I can find apply as early as possible.

Irish Fishermen heading to Australia

Have an Irish fisherman from a fishing family planning on arriving in Perth end of August. Arriving on a working/holiday visa, 21 years of age. Mainly a crab fisherman but also whitefish trawling, pair trawling for Tuna.
Ideally potting/trap fishing however open to other opportunities. Starting in Perth due to contacts from home but willing to travel.
