We’ve recently recruited a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join a globally recognised client of ours, stepping into an important role where his experience and expertise are a perfect fit for the team.

Getting someone settled into a new role and a new country takes time, and Anna has been there to help make that transition as smooth as possible.

International recruitment can be a longer process, but it’s an important one when it means finding the right person for the role, no matter the distance.

It’s a big move for a candidate, an important appointment for a client, and one we’re proud to have helped bring together.

Well done to Sophia, our latest H&S quiz winner! Rochelle was on hand to deliver her voucher and celebrate the win.

We’re always happy to recognise the people who get involved, ask questions and keep health and safety front of mind.

The prizes are a nice bonus, but encouraging good H&S practices across our teams is the real win. 🥇

The Enterprise Bake Off rolls on… 🧁

Next, the Wellington team got stuck into their Bake Off, with plenty of homemade treats, close competition, and scrumptious baking.

But there can only be one Top Baker… and this time, the title goes to Jessie for her delicious Biscoff Lolly Cake! 🏆

Alongside the baking, the team also brought in food items to support Lower Hutt Foodbank, a local charity supporting individuals and whānau experiencing hardship.

And with the sun making a rare appearance, it seems the Wellington team managed to squeeze in a little Vitamin D and a few accidental tans while they were at it.

Jessie now gets to choose another charity for Enterprise to donate to.

Another great cause supported. Another Top Baker crowned. 🚩

Monday reflections 🪞

One of the best things about recruitment is the people you meet along the way: the candidates we get to know, the opportunities we help create, and the clients and businesses we build relationships with.

Some people stay for a while, some move on to their next chapter, and some find their way back to us. Either way, we’re grateful for every conversation, placement and partnership that’s been part of the journey.

Taking a moment to look back at what we’ve achieved together is a pretty good way to start the week and if the weeks behind us are anything to go by, we’re looking forward to a good one ahead.

The Enterprise Bake Off has officially begun… 🧁

The Christchurch team brought in their homemade creations to share around the office, with this round supporting Full Bellies, a charity helping make sure children have food for the school day.

With plenty of treats to be shared, judged and donated, there was certainly no shortage of delicious baking!

After a very serious team vote, Dean came out on top as our Top Baker. 🏆 With this esteemed title, he gets to choose another charity for Enterprise to make an additional donation to.

We’re looking forward to seeing what the other branches bake up and the different causes we’ll be able to support along the way. 🚩

Three years running. 👏

The Wellington team have kicked off another big project this week, supporting a long-standing client behind the scenes through to mid-October.

This is the third year running that Enterprise has been selected to support the project — a great reflection of the trust built over the years and the hard work that goes into making it happen.

The team got together for a lunch shout before things got underway, and now it’s all systems go. 💪
