New Zealand is facing a critical shortage of healthcare professionals—and the numbers are staggering.
🏥 Hospitals are short an average of 587 nurses every shift
👩⚕️ We need 4800 nurses, 1700 doctors, and 1050 midwives just to meet current demand
📈 An additional 8000 nurses and 3400 doctors will be needed by 2033 to keep up with population growth and aging demographics
This isn't just a staffing issue—it's a community care crisis. Patients are waiting longer, healthcare workers are burning out, and rural clinics are struggling to stay open.
We’re here to bridge this gap by:
🌍 Recruiting both locally and internationally
🎓 Partnering with training institutions to support new grads
🤝 Offering flexible placements and career pathways
💬 Listening to what healthcare workers really need to thrive
But we know recruitment is only part of the solution. So we want to hear from you:
🔍 Are you a healthcare professional considering a move?
💬 What’s stopping you from applying for roles in NZ?
🧭 What kind of support or flexibility would make a difference for you?
