Dil Hi To Hai (It Is, After All, Only a Heart) by Atiya & J.Walker is officially live 🕯️✨

What happens when 19th-century South Asian poetry meets modern European music production? Born in Agra, India, singer Atiya honors poet Mirza Ghalib by combining traditional Urdu poetry with modern synth-pop, world music, and blues guitar by Dutch producer J.Walker (Jaap Koopman).

The result is a cross-over track exploring human vulnerability, love, and resilience.

the show ‘.radio ’ hosted by will broadcast from 12h to 14h and in that slot i will play one piece from my latest album and one “praam-style version” of a piece from the Top 100 best classical pieces ever , as voted by Radio 4 listeners (a cover version essentially).

on top i will bring two guest musicians to the party to help me perform
