This is a platform for you to show how grateful you are for their commitment and hardwork. International National Nanny Recognition Week (INNRW) is here!!

This is a week-long celebration founded in 1998 by Mary Clurman and Judi Merlin, aims to highlight the value of nannies, recognize their significant contributions to families, and foster a supportive community within the childcare profession.

The initiative was created to shift the public perception of nannies from negative stereotypes to appreciating their crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while enabling parents to pursue their careers.

The week was established by Mary Clurman of Nanny News and Judi Merlin of A Friend of the Family, along with a group of dedicated industry professionals.

The founders sought to counteract the negative press and stereotypes surrounding nannies.

The initiative grew from a national focus to an international one, recognizing the global impact of nannies.

Objective:
Raise Awareness and Recognition:

To bring public attention to the vital role nannies play in society.

Acknowledge Nannies' Contributions:

To celebrate the hard work, dedication, and love that nannies provide to families and children.

Foster Community:
To create a sense of community among caregivers and professionals in the field.

To highlight nannies' professionalism and the nurturing environment they create for children and families.
