The role and the team
They want someone who will support their regional teams, strategically and hands-on, in areas such as admin, onboarding, performance management, talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, and business building.
This leader has the ability to translate HR policies and practices into practical labor strategies that support and enable the business to work effectively in a global environment.
This position is a critical, highly-visible role working with senior leaders and employees across all levels and functions in a culture of transformation. While likely based in Port Harcourt , this position will also work closely with their 23 branches across Nigeria.
You’ll have:
Willingness and ability to travel 10-15% of the time (once travel is more consistently accessible and safe, given the current pandemic).
Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written; able to communicate sensitively and compellingly with individuals as well as large groups across multiple cultures.
Work autonomously with the desire to strive in, and contribute to, a start-up environment where you can take ownership, lead, manage and adjust to changing priorities.
Solid understanding of compensation and incentive plans. Ability to influence managers/leaders with data-driven, statistical recommendations to improve performance, retention and employee experience.
Contribute to an engaging and inclusive work culture, leading and influencing others in a positive manner. Remain calm under pressure; comfortable addressing difficult situations and ability to work with a diverse range of personalities and multiple levels of employees.
