A lot of people think the only way out of a job you don’t enjoy is to quit.

Quitting isn’t always realistic.

What actually works is building your exit quietly.

Not with pressure.
But with structure.

If you’re currently working and feel stuck, start here:

• Block 20–30 minutes, 3–4 times a week. Not every day. Keep it realistic.
• Review your CV one section at a time instead of trying to fix everything at once
• Apply to 1–2 roles weekly that actually align, not just anything available
• Start showing up on LinkedIn, even if it’s once a week. Visibility matters more than perfection
• Reach out and connect with at least two people weekly. Not to ask for jobs, just to build real conversations
• Pay attention to what kind of roles excite you vs what you’re just settling for

Most people don’t have a job problem.
They have a clarity and consistency problem.

You don’t need a dramatic exit plan.

You need small actions you can sustain even on your busiest weeks.

Because the goal isn’t just to leave your current job.
It’s to move into something better… not something random.

If you truly desire clarity, send me a DM today.

You finally stopped waiting for the ā€œperfect timeā€ and decided to bet on yourself.

Here’s what nobody tells you about pivoting careers: the fear doesn’t go away before you start. It goes away because you start. You wake up one day and realize you’ve been shrinking yourself to fit into a role that was never built for you, and something in you just says… enough.

So you take the leap. Messy CV and all. Uncertain LinkedIn and all. Half-formed plan and all.

And that? That’s actually where the real work begins.

If you’re in this season, drop a šŸ™‹šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø below. I see you, and I’ve got you.

Repost and share because you never know who you may be helping.

If you’re a graduate and you don’t share it with the undergraduate that you know then you’re part of the problem. šŸ˜

Work experience as an undergraduate is not optional anymore. It’s your edge.

Whether it’s paid or unpaid, start building something for yourself now. Don’t wait until you’re done with school and suddenly expect opportunities to appear.

Because when you graduate, you’re not just competing with your classmates.

You’re competing with people who:
• Interned during holidays
• Volunteered to gain experience
• Took on small projects
• Built skills outside the classroom

I’ve seen it over and over again.

Two people graduate with the same degree.
One has experience. The other doesn’t.

Only one gets the opportunity.

Start where you are.

It might not be perfect.
It might not pay.
It might not even feel like much.

But it counts.

And in a few years, it will make all the difference.

Happy new month! First month in a new quarter! You still have a chance to ace this year! I’m rooting for you.

1. Your Work Evidence Bank
Create a habit of recording your wins, learnings, and results every week. When opportunity shows up, you won’t be scrambling for examples. You’ll already be prepared.
2. A Strong Professional Identity
Get clear on what you actually do well and how you add value. When people ask, ā€œSo what do you do?ā€, your answer should sound confident, focused, and memorable.
3. One Deliverable Every Month
Start something tangible monthly. A framework, presentation, case study, system, or content. Progress becomes obvious when you stop planning and start producing.
4. The Skill That Levels You Up
Pick the one skill that would immediately improve your confidence or income and work on it intentionally for 30 days. Growth loves focus.
5. Your Trend Awareness Habit
Stay informed by tracking a few credible voices or platforms in your field weekly. Knowing what’s changing helps you stay relevant and ahead of the curve.
6. A Personal Idea Bank
Capture insights, lessons, and thoughts as they come. This becomes your secret weapon for content, conversations, and clarity.
7. Intentional Relationship Building
Once a week, connect with someone you admire or want to learn from. No pressure. No pitching. Just meaningful connection.
8. Showing Your Work Consistently
Share your thinking, lessons, or experiences publicly. Visibility compounds faster than talent when done consistently.
9. A Career Direction Check-In
Use January to honestly assess where you are and where you want to be in the next few years. Drifting is easy. Direction is powerful.
10. A Growth Routine That Sticks
Build systems around learning, reflection, skill-building, and personal development. Motivation fades. Structure sustains progress.

In 2025, I started the habit of sharing my wins and losses at the end of each month. Somewhere along the line, I stopped. I’m not even sure why. But one thing is clear, I want to bring it back this year and be very intentional about it. Beyond storytelling, it helps with clarity, tracking progress, and doing business better.

So here’s a little flashback.

Recruitment:
Through Tife Ojo Consults, I successfully closed over 25 roles. I’m deeply grateful to God for the results, but if I’m being honest, I wish I had tracked the exact figures more diligently. Lesson noted and correcting that this year.

HR Consulting:
I supported about four businesses with HR consulting, and I’m genuinely proud of this. I’m looking forward to doing much more in 2026, with better documentation and structure.

Career Coaching:
This was a major highlight. I coached at least 60 people across both free and paid sessions. The feedback and testimonies were incredibly encouraging and constantly reminded me that God was truly involved in this journey. That alone kept me going.

Resume Revamp:
I worked with about 45 people here. Some were free sessions, many were paid, and every single one mattered. Knowing that these professionals now have stronger visibility and better chances in the job market makes me really happy.

Mentoring:
Phew. I trained a few people looking to go into recruitment/HR. It started as an experiment, but the feedback was so good that it confirmed something for me, I want to do this again, and I want to do it better. Some of them now work with me on a part-time basis. I’ve also mentored people within my close circle, and this year, I’m ready to be more structured and committed to it.

Building the business:
I worked with interns in 2025, but 2026 is about building a solid team. Tife Ojo Consults will be hiring at least two staff this year, and I’m genuinely excited about that growth.

My friend was supposed to come drop some nugget ahead of the year 2026 but she’s securing the BAG on that day and she has promised to come around some other time. But for now, I’d love to see you….
