Job Summary:
We are looking for an HR professional to manage the human resource function efficiently and effectively and provide comprehensive and professional HR support to the management and staff of CreditRegistry. The HR officer will develop and update personnel policies, procedures, and forms; assist and support department managers and employees regarding personnel issues; and maintain personnel records. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, have an in-depth knowledge of HR employment laws and best practices, be highly organized and display strong interpersonal and communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As our HR officer, your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• HR Database Management: Complete a broad variety of HR administrative tasks including filing and documenting new staff, updating our internal databases of staff, and ensuring the employee master file is updated to reflect current information on staff.
• Recruitment: Provide support during recruitment campaigns, paste adverts online, shortlist CVs, and manage interview correspondences with applicants end-to-end.
• Onboarding: Support the overall process of new staff induction/onboarding and ensure staff fill out the onboarding questionnaire upon completion of the process.
• Time/Attendance Management and Leave Management: Ensure staff lateness records are spooled monthly and emails are sent to defaulting staff. Collate annual leave schedules for all departments.
• Training: Ensure staff monthly training are scheduled, update staff file with training certificates, ensure the post-training evaluation are sent to staff upon 24hrs of training completion, and update the training file on SharePoint with training materials.
• Policy and Process: Assist the HR Manager in the development of the HR Unit SOP and HR policies.
• Reporting: Prepare and present the weekly HR report, monthly EXCO report, and quarterly management report.
• Payroll: Provide monthly salary advice, follow up with staff salary payments, and timeous remittance of statutory payments (tax, pensions)
• Staff Benefits: Ensure the timeous renewal of staff HMO, GLA, and other benefits applicable to staff.
• Administration Support: Provide administration support to staff as required.
• Succession Planning: Provide support and insight to managers on company career pathing and replacement and succession planning

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• First Degree in Social Sciences
• Professional certification in HR Management e.g., Professional in HR (PHRI), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), etc. will be an advantage.
