On behalf of our Client- an Oil Palm Plantation, we are looking for experienced persons for the following roles:
Job Location: Edo state
Clarification Operation.
Responsibilities:
Ensure clarification tanks are in good condition
The centrifuge pumps are in good condition
Oil recovery is at optimum at the clarification station
Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Maintain activity logs.
Any other duties delegated by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Good knowledge of machines from other related industries with a minimum of one year experience.
A Technical degree would be an added advantage.
A Certification or License would be an added advantage.
Preferably residence of Edo state.
Electrical Engineering Technician
Responsibilities:
General maintenance of Oil Palm processing machinery, which include:
General Maintenance of electrical motors of machinery
Maintenance of electrical control panels
Inspection, maintenance/repairs of electrical ancillary equipment of turbine and pressure vessels. E.g. boilers, air compressor receivers, oil palm vessels, etc.
Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering Technician Part II with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience.
Preferably residence of Edo state.
Fiber Carrier
Responsibilities:
Ensure adequate evacuation on time and good sanitation.
Has good knowledge of extracting fiber in an Oil Palm Plantation.
Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Maintain activity logs.
Any other duties delegated by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1-year experience
Prior experience working in a warehouse would be added advantage
Must be physically fit
Must have communication skills
Preferably residence in Edo state
Sterilizer Hydraulic Operator
Responsibilities:
To ensure adequate steam injection into the sterilizer
To ensure sterilizer steam pressure and temperature is at optimum
To ensure the sterilizers gears and hydraulic system are in good condition
To ensure no leakage in the sterilizer chamber
Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Maintain activity logs.
Any other duties delegated by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Good knowledge of machines from other related industries with a minimum of 1-year experience
A Technical degree would be an added advantage.
Preferably residence of Edo state.
Boiler Operator
Responsibilities:
Operate and adjust a boiler in the steam-generating plant, maintaining maximum boiler efficiency by adjusting and interpreting gauges, indicators, and steam flow meters.
Operation of a steam turbine to generate power
Maintain various records and reports in boiler log
Make regular checks of plant equipment and make adjustments, repairs, and service equipment as required
Ensure compliance with Health and safety procedures
Maintain heating systems such as low-pressure boilers, high-pressure boilers, and biomass boilers.
Must ensure a safe and environmentally friendly operation of boiler systems.
Qualifications:
Applicant must possess Mechanical Engineering Technician Part II with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience.
Preferably residence of Edo state.
Process Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Assist on mill daily operation, routine monitoring on production control.
Able to control workers' discipline, welfare, and related matters on daily basis.
Understand laboratory-related checking on mill losses.
Ensure proper housekeeping, safety guidelines, ensure workers follow SOP all the time.
Able to record on process record, checklist, and report to management promptly.
To participate in Mill Audits.
Able to handle the situation well during a challenging time. E.g. Mill visit/auditor by external/internal.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma related to any science subjects, processing, food science, technical subjects, or equivalent.
Fast learner, independent and self-motivated.
Must be willing to work on shifts. (TBD)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications will be an additional advantage.
Experience in mill process and Sustainability basic knowledge will be an added advantage.

Kernel Sorter
Responsibilities:
Ensure kernel is free from debris
Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Maintain activity logs.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent

Plantation Mill Manager
Responsibilities:
Overall in charge of mill operation, Manage Mill operations in an effective and efficient manner ensuring optimum level of productivity.
Ensure optimum capacity utilization
Develop new processes and techniques in order to maximize OER and KER
Prepare overall annual budget and ensure all costs are within Budget.
Ensure optimum OER and KER while prevailing good quality.
Ensure effective maintenance to keep mill at tip-top condition & prevent breakdown.
Ensure sustainability of the company in view of worker’s welfare, P&L, CSR, legal compliance, quality control and etc.
Deal with authorities including safety, environmental, social and health, fire protection &, etc to ensure compliance with the law.
Ensure quality and constant supply of fruits, coordinate with the trader.
Primary in charge of ISO, ISCC, ISPO, RSPO and etc certification system.
Groom up and retain potentials to ensure a backup system in place for all critical positions of the mill.
Ensure Monthly operations reports are tracked regularly and submit to Top Management on time
Support capacity expansion plans and targets.
Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineer with steam engineer certificate
Experience in running Palm Oil Mill for a minimum of 5 years
Have high leadership skills
Mastering the entire processing process at the Palm Oil Mill
Have high ability in managing process/ managing HR and other resources
Efficient in ERP and Microsoft Application
Can carry out a risk assessment, aspects and important impacts of the environment and investigation
Knowing the ISO 9001: 2000 and 14001: 2004 management systems and understanding SMK3 (OHSAS 18001: 1999)
Financial and commercial acumen
Strong exceptional, planning, conflict management and decision-making skills.
Strong experience in local authorities and local citizen handling & facing
Preferably a residence of Edo state
Fitter Mechanic:
Responsibilities:
Carrying out tasks safely having conducted Risk Assessments
Servicing and repair of HGV, and other processing plants
Breakdown repairs in the field
Record keeping for work undertaken
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the workshop
Repair, service and maintain light and heavy plant equipment.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate that you can work safely
Possess good organizational and communication skill
Have the appropriate skills and qualifications to execute the requirements of the role, and to provide flexibility to undertake emergency repairs where and when these arise
A minimum of 2 years related work experience
Preferably a residence of Edo state
Light shell/dry shell Loader
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the shells are evacuated on time and good sanitation
Inspect the products to confirm their quality

Empty Bunch Carriers
Responsibilities:
To ensure empty bunches do not block/chock thresher outlet
To ensure good sanitation
Inspect the products to confirm their quality
Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Maintain activity logs.
Any other duties delegated by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years related experience

Press Man:
Responsibilities:
Proper functioning of the press
To ensure good squeezing of sludge from the fiber
Work along an assembly path performing a specialized task that helps move the product towards the consumer market.
Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Maintain activity logs.
Any other duties delegated by the Supervisor.
