These are exciting opportunities to study for a BSc (Hons) degree at De Montfort University in Leicester at the same time as working for IBM. Apprentices will spend 80% of their time on client work at IBM and 20% studying for their degree at University. At the end of the 4 year apprenticeship, successful students will be awarded a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions, so this is a great way of obtaining a degree without the need for a student loan. This opportunity is great for candidates to learn on the job, gain work experience and also obtain a degree. IBM pays the tuition fees and for those not based in Leicester expenses to travel to the University in Leicester, along with a salary of £18,000 per year.

Please can you forward this information to Year 13 students you know and might be interested? The minimum requirements are 5 GCSEs Grade 5-9 (incl. Maths and English Language), along with predicted or obtained at least BBB at A-level, including at least one grade B at A-level in Maths, a Science or IT.
