Location: Afe Babalola University, Ekiti State
Salary: โฆ200,000 monthly + Shared Accommodation
Position Overview
We are urgently seeking three experienced Chefs to join our catering team at Afe Babalola University, Ekiti State. The ideal candidates must be skilled in preparing a wide variety of local and continental dishes, and capable of cooking large meals using traditional firewood methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare popular Nigerian dishes including:
- Jollof Rice, Fried Rice, Spaghetti, etc
- Soups such as Vegetable, Afang, Ewedu, Okra, Bitterleaf
- Swallows such as Amala, Semovita, Eba, etc.
- Prepare continental dishes as required.
- Cook large-scale meals using firewood.
- Maintain high standards of neatness, cleanliness, and promptness.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player in diverse kitchen environments.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability across different catering positions.
- Uphold discipline and professionalism in all kitchen operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in preparing both local and continental cuisine.
- Ability to manage large meal preparations efficiently.
- Strong values of promptness, neatness, cleanliness, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Willingness to adapt to different catering environments.
- Must be reliable, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
