How do you handle an angry customer?

1. Opening: "Thank you for calling [Company], this is [Name]. How may I help you?"
2. Probe: Ask questions like "When did this start?" or "What did you try so far?"
3. Empathy: "I understand how frustrating that must be. Let me check and fix this."
4. Action: Explain steps clearly and keep the caller updated.
5. Recap: "I’ve adjusted your plan; you’ll see changes in your next bill. Anything else I can help you with?"
6. Close: Thank them for calling politely.
