Now Open: Registration For Sime Darby Industrial Academy’s Skills Development Programmes For SPM Leavers
Sime Darby Industrial Academy (formerly known as Tractors Academy) offers skills development programmes to young school-leavers who have completed their secondary education. The programmes will enable students to obtain a recognised skills certification from the Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia.
We welcome you to come and find out more about the courses offered at Sime Darby Industrial Academy, and for those who are interested, the registration for the courses are open until 6 January 2014.
Technical Skills Training Courses Offered:
Certification of Heavy Equipment Mechanics & Technicians Programme (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Level 1-3)
Certification of Motor Vehicle Automotive Mechanics & Technician Programme (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Level 1-3)
Supervisory Development Programme (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Level 3)
Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia in Automotive Executive (Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia Level 4)
CIDB Heavy Equipment Operator Training Programme (CIDB)
Entry Requirements:
Completion of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
Programme Overview:
Comprising learning and practical modules as outlined in:
National Occupation Skills Standards (NOSS)
Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resource, Malaysia
Study loans and allowances are available under the Skills Development Fund Corporation (Perbadanan Tabung Pembangunan Kemahiran) for those who are qualified. Students are entitled for a 10% discount on their study fees if their parents or relatives are employees of the Sime Darby Group.
Registration is now open at Sime Darby Industrial Academy for the January 2014 intake. Further details are as follows:
