The first official Phazzer CEW training in the APAC region marked a significant milestone in less-lethal capability development, following the recent acquisition of new Phazzer Conducted Electrical Weapon (CEW) devices. This inaugural program delivered an advanced, structured curriculum designed to elevate officer readiness, operational confidence, and safety standards beyond previously available training in the region.

The training emphasized updated tactical deployment techniques, incorporating the latest global best practices in CEW usage, decision-making under stress, and threat assessment. Officers received comprehensive first-hand safety instruction, covering physiological effects, risk mitigation, post-deployment medical considerations, and device handling protocols to ensure both officer and subject safety during real-world encounters.

Unlike conventional classroom-based instruction, this program introduced realistic, scenario-driven exercises tailored to the officers’ actual work environments. Participants were placed in controlled yet high-stress simulations that reflected operational realities such as urban policing, close-quarters confrontations, and dynamic threat escalation. These scenarios challenged students to apply proper judgment, communication, and CEW deployment techniques while under physical and psychological stress.

The training was conducted by Senior Instructor Chaen Tidsuchon, who brings over 30 years of professional training experience in law enforcement, tactical instruction, and use-of-force methodologies. His extensive background ensured the highest standards of instruction, realism, and safety throughout the program. This project includes the sales team from Nichimen Resources Sdn Bhd. Nichimen whom has provided CEW devices to agencies within the Malaysian territory again proves that Nichimen is indeed the choice of quality products and a team whom is determined to make sure that the customer receives and deploys products streamlined for success and quality. Nichimen has driven the development for the choice of the government for procurement and implementation of government contracts. Students endured the most advanced level of CEW training conducted in the region to date, with a strong focus on injury prevention, muscle memory development, and stress inoculation. This approach significantly improved officer proficiency, ensuring that CEW deployment remains controlled, lawful, and effective even in high-pressure situations.

The successful ex*****on of this training sets a new benchmark for CEW instruction in APAC, reinforcing Phazzer’s commitment to professional standards, officer safety, and responsible use of force while enhancing operational effectiveness across participating agencies.

A courtesy visit by the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Nichimen Resources Sdn Bhd to the Director of the Department of Crime Prevention and Community Safety, Bukit Aman, aimed at conveying information and engaging in an exchange of views regarding current and latest security equipment, particularly the use of non-lethal weapons to strengthen the operations of the MPV and URB units of JPJKK.
