When you come across any challenging situations in life, remember that every person in their life undergoes periods of difficult times. However, what sets each individual apart is how they tackle that situation.

No matter how hard the circumstances seem to be, never get disheartened, never bend down and never think that this is the end of it all. Retain your faith, and you will be able to overcome mightier problems with no difficulty. Once you overcome such situations, only then will you be able to enjoy some of the most precious and priceless moments of your life.

Exceptional leaders are the ones who stand up for their people and support them when they are experiencing their most challenging moments. They also encourage and push their people to take on bigger challenges.

Exceptional leaders treat you as you deserve to be treated: With dignity and respect. They don't strike you down with belittling comments and never intentionally try to place you in an embarrassing or demeaning position in front of others, whether colleagues or clients. They show a genuine interest in and concern for others. They ask you, "How are you?" or "How's your family?" And then they listen and express genuine concern.

When employees feel valued, they will contribute more and perform better at work. They tend to be more engaged, passionate, and incredibly loyal to their work to help the organization fulfill its purpose and vision.

How can you make your employees feel valued? Here are a few simple examples according to Bridget Miller:

1. Recognition. Provide employees with the recognition they deserve.

2. Say “thank you”—simple but effective and often overlooked.

3. Solicit their opinion and utilize it as often as possible.

4. Invest in their continued development.

One can use many more strategies to show their appreciation genuinely; these are only a few. A study conducted by Jackson Organisation revealed that organizations that effectively appreciate their employees enjoy a much higher return than firms that don’t.

When an employee’s performance is consistently good, it becomes expected and may unknowingly be taken for granted.

We have seen people in leadership positions manipulate high-performing employees to produce more, take on the burden of others while nothing is done to address the significant shortfall in the performance of other team members. At some point, this person will get burned out and lose all inspiration to continuing performing at such a high level.

According to Tim McClure, when passionate employees become quiet, it usually signals that the work environment has become very dysfunctional. As the leader, this is something you must observe and act on immediately.

Please don’t push your most loyal people to the point that they no longer care. When you have people passionate, inspired, and motivated to help the company achieve its vision while fulfilling its purpose, you must do everything in your power to ensure that this team keeps this vibe. Otherwise, you run the risk of pushing away great talent while settling for mediocrity.

Role Description
* You need to prepare any documents or items that the Finance team is responsible for, including quotations, invoices, billing statements, and other reports and records.
* You have to keep a thorough record of business transactions and enter data from daily work logs into the company’s general ledger system.
* You need to prepare reconciliation and resolve/ monitor discrepancies in a timely manner.
* He or She must perform three-way match and check for appropriate approvals before processing invoices for payment settlement.
* You also must keep track of any consumer issues that require a refund and issue refunds in a timely manner.
* Need to contact business partners to notify them of outstanding balance for payment collection.

Desired Skills and Experience
* A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or other related areas. Fresh graduates will also be considered.
* Detail-oriented and possess the ability in multi-tasking, both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Hands on experience in AP cycle would be preferable
* Good knowledge of MS Office, excellent command in Excel. Data processing skill is highly preferable.

A leader of good character is someone whose behavior can be predicted in their absence; in other words, they stay true to their authentic self by never compromising on their values. How many CEOs have resigned because of their questionable character and behavior? They destroy their reputation in a matter of seconds. * To provide full spectrum of secretarial, administration duties and to cater personal
errands such as maintaining calendar and diary, arranging for meeting schedules,
managing travel arrangements including managing flight / ground transportation, visa
applications, hotel booking, preparing travel itineraries, receive and screen phone
calls, handle office and personal documentation i.e. expense claims, travel claims in
an organised way, arrangement and coordination of schedules and appointments,
taking minutes of meetings, attending to internal and external correspondence as well
as follows through on specific actions that need to be taken.

* To undertake special assignments, project adhoc functions, preparation of
presentation slides and other duties as and when required.

* To liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of Management, staff and
business associates.

* To coordinate, attend and take minutes of meetings and any other relevant meetings.

* To manage confidential documents, records and maintain good and organized filing
for data retrieving

* To maintain absolute confidentiality and handle all tasks given expeditiously.

* To undertake any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Immediate Superior /
Management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial / Business
Administration / Management or its equivalent.

* At least 4 – 6 years of working experience in secretarial / administration work

* Resourceful, initiative, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and independent.

* Strong management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.

* Presentable appearance and personal cleanliness are necessary.

* Positive working attitude, pro-active and able to work under pressure.

* High Level of integrity, commitment and a sense of urgency.

* Excellent in both writtem and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

* Must be computer literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office

* Able to commit long hours when required

* Renewable fixed term contract.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent

* As this role would require to deal with our multiple race customer, you must be proficient in Mandarin, English ,Bahasa Malaysia

* Preferably with at least 1 Year(s) of working experience and Junior Executive specialized in Sales or in similar industry

* Required Skill(s): Sales & Marketing, Event Planning, Business Management, Customer Service

REQUIREMENTS

* Have excellent communication skills with strong command in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
* Be able to work as a team and obey to your superior's instructions
* Self motivated and results oriented in pursuing and achieving objectives
* Be proficient in Email and Internet technology
