Medior React Engineers Opportunity

Our current setup is such that different business units have their own systems and portals for different uses. These portals are not integrated, and not unified and they are all built using either legacy technologies or improper technologies. We would like to get rid of that incrementally and build from scratch a new centralized platform and integrations with other external systems as needed.

Technologies they’d like to use: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, React, AWS, Microservices, RESTful architecture.
This person would become a fully integrated team member and will participate in all stages of SDLC. The engineer will be primarily responsible for building out front-end features for this new system but also participate in sprint planings, backlog reviews, prioritization, daily team meetings, etc. They also practice pair-programming.

Tech-requirements:

Problem: they spend too much time rewriting Golang code because their senior developers aren’t expert enough.

What are the long-term projects for the person in this role?

● The more integrations we do, the more complex the system becomes. The candidate will become a pivotal figure of the team, leading the successful implementation of more complex integrations (ex: cloud providers)

● We need to ensure the system can scale and it’s reliable. The candidate will participate in constant reviews of the architecture, propose and evaluate possible modifications
Position Responsibilities:

● Dive into the details of external software. Example, how to configure Adobe Analytics to ingest data, or how to configure AWS to deploy edge computing capabilities

● The design part of the architecture in collaboration with the team

● implement solutions

● test and monitor

Tech-requirements:
Have at least exposure to 3 programming languages, with one of them being Javascript. We are looking for a generalist that can adapt to anything ahead. Secondary languages might include Java, Rust, Python, Go.

● Be able to work alone with minimal supervision and minimal previous knowledge. Our team is currently working with minimal information available. A good candidate has the ability to find out where information is and use it appropriately, autonomously.

● Be able to work with a customer and participate to calls with engineering teams to explain technical details of our solution in a simple and clear way

● Experience with at least one of the following cloud environments: AWS, GCP, Azure
