🔍 The NCPE is conducting a research study to examine the prevalence of age discrimination in the workplace.

📊 As part of this study, a quantitative survey and a series of focus groups are being carried out to gather insights from employers, employees, and trade unions.

🤝 The NCPE is seeking input from NGOs and CSOs through an online questionnaire. Your expertise on workplace realities is highly valued, and your contribution will help enrich the findings of this research.

- 80% of women and 76% of men recognise that climate change is a very serious problem
- 66% of women and 62% of men have taken action to address climate change

Equal pay for equal work should be a given - regardless of gender or nationality - yet disparities persist. As Malta begins fully implementing the EU Pay Transparency Directive, aimed at tackling the gender pay gap, new reporting obligations and transparency measures are coming into force in June 20

➡️Ir-riżultati tal-elezzjoni ġenerali tal-2026 juru kif il-mekkaniżmu tal-ġeneru f’Malta serva bħala katalist għal rappreżentanza akbar tan-nisa fil-politika.

➡️Fl-2022, inizjalment (qabel l-elezzjonijiet każwali, il-mekkaniżmu tal-proporzjonalità u l-mekkaniżmu tal-ġeneru) 4 nisa biss ġew eletti fil-Parlament:

➡️Għall-ewwel darba fl-2022 bil-mekkaniżmu tal-ġeneru daħlu 12-il mara fil-Parlament. 11 minnhom ikkontestaw l-elezzjoni fl-2026.

➡️Fl-elezzjoni ġenerali tal-2026, 9 nisa kisbu siġġu fil-Parlament mingħajr ma kellhom bżonn il-mekkaniżmu tal-ġeneru:
