I decided to start producing virgin coconut oil because of the high economic value of the product in the local and global markets and the location is situated in the coconut triangle. The ability to provide many employment opportunities to people in the area and the absence of such production industry in Nikaweratiya area further supported my decision. After a thorough study about the industry bot

h theoretically and practically and giving the necessary training to the staff, I commenced the production of virgin coconut oil on 25th March 2015 with cash at hand and a bank loan. Further, it is with much pleasure that I notify you that I expect to start producing other coconut related products in near future.
