Position: Back-End Developer

He/she is responsible for everything that is under the hood of the applications, and he/she is the chief problem-solver. He/she will dedicate his/her time to designing, fixing, and altering the aspects of a software application or information system. He/she will be crafting the core features and components of the programs that drive consumers’ digital experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
He/she should be proficient in Programming Languages (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby, or PHP) and familiar with Web Servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx, IIS, GWS, Lighttpd), Version Control Tools (Git), Databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB), Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Serverless Platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, and Google Cloud Functions), RESTful APIs. In addition to these tools, he/she should also be familiar with best practices for web development, such as version control, testing, and deployment. He/she should also have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns. Additional related skills, tools, and technologies for the Back-end team: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

REQUIREMENT
• BS degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Fluency in English

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Excellent collaboration skills and project management skills

• Commitment to meet tough deadlines

• Honest, self-motivated

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

He/she creates the part of the application that the users see and directly interact with. He/she is responsible for developing and maintaining the user-facing aspects of software applications, such as the user interface and visual design. He/she works with back-end developers to ensure that the application is functional and seamless for the user.
