GOT AN INTERVIEW IN 24 HRS?! READ THIS
Most people underestimate how much preparation matters when you get an interview invite.
If you get an interview in 24 hours, hereβs how to structure your preparation:
1. In the first few hours, focus on understanding the job description and researching the company properly on their website and on LinkedIn. You need to know exactly what the employer is looking for before you start preparing answers.
2. After that, shift to your own experience. Identify 3β5 strong examples from your work history that directly match the role. These will form the backbone of your answers.
3. Next, prepare for common interview questions like βTell me about yourself,β βWhy this role?β and βWhy should we hire you?β Keep your answers structured, not memorized because when you memorize the recruiters can tell and this drops your chances of getting the job.
4. Then practice speaking your answers out loud. Confidence comes from repetition, not perfection. I repeat, confidence comes from repetition!
5. Finally, prepare your outfit. Make sure your hair looks neat, choose outfit colors like navy blue, grey. Choose colors that are not contrasting. Test your setup (if preparing for a virtual interview), and make sure you rest. A tired mind doesnβt perform well in interviews.
The goal is simple: donβt try to prepare everythingβfocus on preparing the right things in the right order.
