America’s billionaire Cargill family is among the wealthy donors backing Kenya’s $160 million plan to protect wildlife and 17.3 million hectares of land.🇰🇪

The programme is expected to receive $80 million from philanthropic donors, including Cargill Philanthropies and the Rob Walton Foundation, while the Kenyan government will contribute another $80 million over 10 years.

The initiative aims to protect wildlife, support tourism and farming, improve water security, and help communities living near wildlife earn a living.

It also aims to create thousands of jobs while protecting Kenya’s natural environment for future generations.

Following the successful placement of our first group of Internship applicants, Kouzon Kenya is now completing the next group of eligible Kenyan applicants for our employer interviews taking place on 1 October.

This recruitment is specifically for CULINARY applicants under the J-1 Internship & Career Training programs, with two U.S. employers currently available:

STEAMBOAT, COLORADO
December 2026 – April 2027
$20/hour

XANTERRA, WYOMING
May – October 2027
$19.50/hour
The interviews are only 3 days from now, and selected eligible applicants can proceed directly with the placement process following the employer interview.

IMPORTANT — THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY FOR APPLICANTS ELIGIBLE FOR THE J-1 INTERNSHIP OR CAREER TRAINING PROGRAM

For the Internship Program, you must be currently studying Culinary Arts, Hospitality or a directly related field at a university, college or recognized post-secondary institution , OR be a recent graduate from a related program, with graduation no more than 12 months before the start of your U.S. program.

For the Career Training / Trainee Program, you must have a relevant post-secondary degree or professional certificate + at least 1 year of related professional experience outside the USA, OR at least 5 years of relevant professional experience outside the USA.

Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be accepted for the employer interviews !
