1) DON'T Encourage your SON and his WIFE to stay under same roof with you. Best to suggest them to move out, even to the extent of renting a house. It's their problem to find a separate home.
More the distance between you and your children's families, the better is the relationship with your in laws.

2) Treat your Son's Wife as his wife, not as your own daughter, maybe just treat her as a friend. Your son would always be your Junior but, if you think that his wife is of the same rank and if you ever scolded her, she would remember it for life.
In real life, only her own mother and not u will be viewed as a person qualified to scold or correct her.

3) Whatever HABITS or CHARACTER your Son's Wife has, is not your problem at all, it is your son's problem. It isn't your problem as he is an ADULT already.

4) Even when living together, make each others businesses clear, don't do their laundry, don't cook for them and don't baby sit their children. Unless, of course, there is a special request by your son's wife and you feel that you're capable and don't expect anything in return.

Most importantly, you shouldn't worry about your son's family problems.
Let them settle themselves

5) Pretend to be Blind and Deaf when your son and his wife are quarrelling. It's normal that the young couple do not like their parents to be involved in the dispute between husband and wife.

6) Your Grandchildren totally belong to your son and his wife. However they want to raise their children, it is up to them.
The credit or blame would be on them.

7) Your Son's Wife need not necessarily respect and serve you. It is the son's duty. You should have taught your son to be a better person so that you and your Daughter in Law's relationship could be better.

8. Do more Planning for your own Retirement, Don't Rely on your Children to take care of your retirement. You had already walked through most of your journey in life, there are still a lot of new things to learn through out the journey.

9) It is Your Own interest that you Enjoy Your Retirement years. Better if you could utilise & enjoy everything that you had saved before you die. Don't let your wealth become worthless to you.

10) Grandchildren don't belong to your family, they're their parents precious gift.

Protect Your Wife

Protect your wife from emotional abuse as well. Your words hold immense power, and the emotional scars they leave can be just as damaging as physical ones.

Treat her with kindness and empathy, always mindful of the impact your words have on her self-esteem and mental well-being.

Protect your wife from financial stress by being a responsible partner.

Work together to manage your finances and ensure that she feels secure and supported.

Money matters can be a significant source of tension, so open and honest communication about your financial goals and responsibilities is crucial.

Protect your wife from the daily grind by sharing household and parenting duties.

A strong partnership means both of you are equally responsible for the home and the children you're raising.

Strive for a balance that allows her to pursue her own interests and dreams, just as you pursue yours.

Protect your wife by showing her love and appreciation every day.

Never take her for granted, and express your affection regularly.

Small gestures of kindness and affirmation go a long way in making her feel cherished and valued in your life.

Protect your wife from societal pressures and expectations.

Stand by her choices and support her in pursuing her own path, even if it differs from traditional norms.

Celebrate her individuality and the unique qualities that make her who she is.

Remember that protecting your wife is not just about shielding her from external threats but also creating a loving and nurturing environment within your relationship.

It's about being her partner, confidant, and biggest supporter, ensuring that she feels safe, respected, and deeply loved throughout your journey together.

Mama,

You don't need to take care of everything. You don't have to be a super mom, a super housewife, a super professional, or a super woman.

Because when your body gets tired, few will remember that you tried to be all of this in one person.

So, leave the housework for later. Go for a walk, visit the park, start going to the gym, buy clothes, go to the salon, sleep, be yourself, take care of yourself, love yourself, and do it exclusively for you.

Kids grow up, husbands sometimes leave, jobs find replacements, and the house will get dirty again, but you don't get a second chance.🫶🏼

By age 40 You should be smart enough to realize this:

1.. Stay silent. Not everything needs to be said.

2.. Silence is better than unnecessary drama.

3.. If you find someone smarter than you, work with them, don't compete. Competition is a weakness.

4.. The family you create is more important than the family you come from.

5.. Your current job doesn't care about you. They only pay you enough to kill your dreams.

6.. Free yourself from society's advice, most of them have no idea of what they're doing.

7.. Influence people that have no purpose, no direction, and zero intent. Learn their needs. Lead them.

8. It's better to have 1 friend who's;
✓Happy for you
✓Supports your win
✓Encourage your dreams...

Than a bunch of acquittances who are;
✓Lazy
✓Self-centered
✓Jealous of your success

9. You'll be 10x happier if you forgive your parents and stop blaming them.

10. No one will ever come save you. Your life is 100% your responsibility.

11.Your inner circle should be more focused on money, success, and starting a family.

12.You don't need 100 self-help books. All you need is actions and self-discipline.

Believe in your heart and soul that you are capable of big things in your life.

The only thing that is standing in your way is yourself.
