日本の銭湯のタイル絵からインスピレーションを得たマグカップです。1900年代初頭から戦後にかけて、日本のタイル職人たちは富士山や鯉、松林、異国の風景を銭湯の壁に描きました。まだ多くの家庭にお風呂がなかった時代、銭湯での日々の入浴を、ささやかな感動のひとときに変えてくれたタイル絵。失われつつあるこの手仕事へのオマージュとして、このマグカップをお楽しみください。

Tile Painting History
The design of this mug is inspired by the tile murals found in Japanese sentō (public bathhouses). From
the early 1900s to the post-war period, Japanese painters depicted Mt. Fuji, carp, pine groves and exotic
landscapes on the tiled bathhouse walls. At a time when many homes had no bathroom, these murals
brought a sense of joy and wonder to daily bathing routines. This mug has been created as an homage
to this fading craft.

富士山と日本人🗻
日本といえば富士山。単独峰であり、ほぼ左右対称の円錐形、雪をまとった頂と、その完璧な美しさは、他のどの山にもないものです。自然を敬う日本人にとって富士山は古くから神聖な存在であり、人々は遠くからも拝められる富士を見て、絵画や詩、暮らしの道具にその姿を写し取ってきました。富士山は今も、自然の美しさと精神性、そして日本人が共に生きてきた風景そのものを体現する存在として語られています。

葛飾北斎と波🌊
葛飾北斎の「神奈川沖浪裏」は、日本美術を象徴する一枚として世界中で愛されています。うねりを上げる巨大な波、その奥に静かにそびえる富士山。動と静の対比が、一枚の中に凝縮されています。江戸時代の終わりに生まれたこの版画は、海をわたってモネやゴッホら印象派の画家たちにも影響を与え、日本の美意識を世界に伝えました。北斎が描いたのは単なる波ではなく、自然への畏れと美しさ、そして人と自然が共に在る世界の姿でした。

Mt. Fuji is synonymous with Japan. The mountain's solitary presence, near-perfect conical shape and
snow-capped peak add to its unique beauty. For Japanese people, who revere nature, Mt. Fuji has long
held a sacred place and been depicted from afar in paintings, poems and everyday objects. Even today,
Mt. Fuji embodies the beauty and spirituality of nature, as well as the very landscape that Japanese
people have lived alongside.

Katsushika Hokusai & Waves
Beloved around the world, Katsushika Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" is a symbol of
Japanese art. Giant waves surge as Mt. Fuji rises silently in the background. The contrast between
movement and stillness has been condensed into a single frame. Created at the end of the Edo Period,
this woodblock print crossed the seas to influence Monet, Van Gogh and other Impressionists, conveying
Japanese aesthetics to the world. More than just a depiction of waves, Hokusai's work captures the
beauty and awe of nature, as well as a world in which people and nature coexist.

本日発売！『HOKUSAI タイルマグ』🌊

陶磁器ブランド「The Porcelains」の人気タイルマグシリーズより、最新作が本日7月29日(水)より販売開始いたします。

モチーフとなったのは、世界中で愛される浮世絵師・葛飾北斎の代表作「冨嶽三十六景 神奈川沖浪裏」。

デザインを手がけたのは、クロスステッチデザイナー／ピクセルアート作家の大図まこと氏です。
わずか18タイル分のグリッドと厳選された7色のみで、巨大な波の躍動感と静かにそびえる富士山を、繊細なドット絵として表現しました。

価格：2,970円（税込） 
仕様：食洗機・電子レンジ対応可

Inspired by a love of nature, Ha’ presents new ways to connect with and appreciate the natural world. Object designer takes a creative approach to developing each product, combining intelligent design with humour and a lively spirit.

The brand launched with a collection of playful vases, followed by a range of teaware for the shared enjoyment of matcha.

Crafted to protect and nurture, the new Husk planters are designed to adapt to the growing needs of a wide range of indoor plants. Made from traditional stoneware in the Japanese pottery town of Hasami, the designs feature interchangeable elements and have been verified by the experienced gardeners at London’s Chiswick House.

Made in the south of Japan, the pot is in unglazed stoneware to allow the body to absorb moisture and the saucer is glazed in a choice of colours to protect your surfaces and add an accent to your interior.
