When you first arrived in Japan, what surprised you the most?
Was it the quiet trains?
The strict garbage rules?
The paperwork?
The work culture?
Or maybe something completely unexpected?
For many of us, moving to Japan came with exciting opportunities—but also a few moments that made us stop and think:
"Wow... this is very different."
The interesting part is that everyone adapts differently.
Some things become normal after a few weeks.
Others take years to understand.
We're curious to hear your story.
