Job Post - Crewing Manager
Job description
Qualification & Experience:
1. The candidate must be a graduate from a reputed university with good academic record.
2. The prospective candidates must possess 5yrs experience in Planning, Sourcing, Selection, and Recruitment, of all grades of seafarers.
3. Must have command over written and spoken English & local language.
4. Must be conversant in CBA and SEA.
Desirable:
- Possess knowledge of international travel requirements of seafarers including application of visa and other travel documents.
- Able to prepare annual crewing budget of various ship types.
- To formulate KPI’S, appraisals and training needs of seafarers.
- The selected Candidate should have good knowledge of crewing with sound knowledge of Flag state, oil majors, and STCW requirements.
- Experience of dealing with multinational crew with a good network of worldwide manning agents in various countries like Burma, Bangladesh, Chinese, Ethiopia, Estonia, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Philippines, Polish, Russia, Romania, Sri-Lanka, Turkey, Ukraine, etc.
- Candidate to have knowledge of handling payroll for seafarers.
- Good analytical skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform well as in a team.
- The selected candidate will report to General Manager / Fleet Personnel.
- Crew recruitment and scheduling
- Able to handle Recruitment & Coordination matters
- Administrative matters including flights, accomodation and visa arrangements
- Ensure that certification and experience of qualified crew fits legal and company’s requirements
- Manage onboard crew
- Assist in recruitment functions and other general admin duties
- Create and maintain personal records and update all certificates
- Adhoc assignments as and when required
Salary will be commensurate with experience and performance and will be at par with industry standards.
