A reputed IB School in Kunkni, Surat – 395005 is hiring a Diploma Programme Chemistry Teacher for Grades 11 & 12.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver interactive lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme Chemistry curriculum
• Create an inquiry-based classroom environment that promotes conceptual understanding and real-world scientific applications
• Guide students in designing and conducting laboratory experiments safely and effectively
• Mentor students in completing Internal Assessments (IAs) and support Extended Essay research in Chemistry
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations in line with IB assessment criteria
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, grades, and laboratory documentation
• Integrate technology, simulations, and data analysis tools into classroom instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary projects
• Participate in IB professional development workshops and school-wide training programs
• Contribute to science exhibitions, academic events, and initiatives that encourage innovation and curiosity
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts, laboratory safety protocols, and experimental techniques
• Proficiency in digital teaching platforms, simulations, and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for inquiry-based learning, scientific exploration, and student development
Grades: Diploma Programme (Grades 11 & 12)
Work Timings: Monday to Saturday | 7:40 AM – 3:45 PM
(Occasional extended hours may be required based on school needs)
Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹80,000 per month
