What an amazing energy and superb response from the children of Hoshiyar Village/Schools, Noida in the drawing competition…….!
Around 150 enthusiastic children between the age of 7 and 14 participated in the Competition titled “Kalakriti” held at Barat Ghar, Hoshiyar Pur Village, Noida on the Independence Day i.e. 15th August 2012. Two categories were formed – first age group between 7 and 9 and second age group between 9 and 14. Prizes were given away to children who got first, second and third position in each category. Consolation prizes were also given away to some children.
When we reached at the venue to make all arrangements, we were surpised to see that venue was already set with proper stage, tent, decoration, etc. The Barat Ghar was set and decorated by some school for their function which was held prior to our event. We cannot describe our feelings when we saw the enthusiasm and joy on the faces of those children. They were saying to us “Aap phir kab ayenge”. Above all, it was a very enriching experience for all of us.
Excellent team work by our volunteers – Sunita Bhatnagar, Meera Aunty, Krishna, Mamta Lall, Damayanti, Somnath, Deepa, Rahul, Ankita, Abhilasha, Savita Sharma. Keep it up!
