As part of PWD Pride Month, The St. Regis Mumbai hosted a landmark two-day Ignite Training Session for PWD associates from across Marriott International hotels in Mumbai Market. The session was specially designed and executed entirely in Indian Sign Language—a meaningful step towards accessible and inclusive learning.
The session featured engaging case studies, role plays, group activities and team-building exercises, along with inspiring interactions with Rimal Dsilva, Senior Director of Human Resources – West India, and the St. Regis Mumbai leadership team.
The two-day training session accomplished with a Graduation Ceremony, where participants and the sign-language interpreter were felicitated. To make the event more memorable, our Assistant Director of HR – Greeshma Rajan learnt the Indian sign language to address the valedictory speech.
A distinctive moment for the entire St. Regis Mumbai team, made all the more special with heartfelt handwritten cards from our General Manager Nishanth Vishwanath, accompanied by thoughtful takeaways.
Ignite was more than a training session – it was a celebration of inclusion, connection and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to shine.
