Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir vows on Government for the relaxation of office timings.

Appeals Government of Jammu and Kashmir to facilitate the Employees with the weekend off benefit.

Srinagar, Dec, 18: In a statement issued from the central office of Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir, Mr. Aijaz Khan was quoted saying that the Government needs to look into the timing of Government Offices, as the Employees have to face the biting chill in the morning.

The Chairman of Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir Mr. Aijaz Khan has vowed on the Government to consider the plea of all the Employees of Jammu and Kashmir and refix the timing schedule to 10:30-04:30 pm in the wake of winters.

Mr. Khan while defining the Geographical status of Jammu and Kashmir, foreboded the upcoming harsh winters and urged on Government to give relaxation in the office timings. He further stated that the Employees especially the female staff have to face numerous challenges while reporting to the Offices in the morning hours. They have to leave too early to be in the Offices on time amid less visibility and poor transportation in the winters.

A delegations of Employees especially the Female Officials betoned the issue before the Umbrella Organization of all the working Associations EJCCK and asked us to address the issue in a time bound manner, quoted Aijaz Khan.

Mr. Aijaz Khan, through the medium of this presser has appealed the Honble Lieutenant Governor and Chief Secretary Dr. AK Mehta to compass the new office timings, in the wake of winters and he further appealed to announce the weekend off for all the Employees of Jammu and Kashmir, so that the Employees are treated at par with the other Union Territories.

Mr. Aijaz Khan while sketching the Employee friendly Environment derived that the Employees needs to be benefited with weekend off, which is their right. He stated that the Employees are too overburdened due to the present scenario of Government work, where Government is pledged to create e-Offices and bring every activity online through electronic modes. This has badly affected the health of Employees and they need to be given a relaxation of weekend off, which is our Prime demand.

The Employees of Different Departments seen raising the banner of "National Movement for implementing the Old Pension Scheme". The Employees demanded scrapping of New Pension Scheme and restoration of Old Pension Scheme. The Employees were seen agitating for no benefits under the Scheme. One of the Employee called it by a wise testimony of "No Pension Scheme".

Remember, Earlier the Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir took a sturdy note of the issue and pressed a demand before the authorities to scrap the policy and bring all the Employees in a Uniform symbiosis. The Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan also appealed the Government to make available the Budget released by the Central Government, which has let the Employees of Jammu and Kashmir without Salaries this month.

EJCCK voices concern over plight of employees enrolled under NPS, demands immediate resolution of all pending demands

Srinagar/Dec, 12: Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir (EJCCK) Aijaz Ahmad Khan has expressed concern on the non availability of Budget, which is to be made available by the Central Government for the Employees enrolled under New Pension Scheme.
In a statement issued here on Monday Aijaz Khan was voiced his concern over the role of NSDL, who claims to be the best service providers and ensures hassle free schemes for the Employees enrolled under New Pension Scheme (NPS) .
“A number of deputations enrolled in the New Pension Scheme reached our Office and alleged therein that their monthly salary has not been disbursed ” reads the statement issued by Aijaz Ahmad Kan, adding that” On confirming the reasons, we got to know that the contribution of Centre @14 percent of the NPS Budget has not been released and the NPS Employees are made to suffer due to delay in disbursement of the pending amount from the central government “.
Stating that this mode of benefitting the Employees, where they strive for their living is unjust and the Government needs to look into the matter the EJCCK Chairman appealed Lieutenant Governor and Chief Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Dr A K Mehta tor consider the demand of NPS Employees for converting their status to Old Pension Scheme.
Appealing for the resolution of the legitimate demands of the Employees in General the EJCCK Chairman appealed the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to redress the long pending game demands of Employees including the regularization of Contractual Workers in different Departments particularly those FP Shops Dealers of FCS&CA Deptt
The EJCCK Chairman also said that there are other demands which have been off and on put up with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and are still pending.l.He reiterated his appealed for the immediate resolution of all pending demands already taken up for consideration with the Government several times in recent times years. .
