Industry Background :- Aluminium Die Casting / HPDC / Automotive / Auto-Components .
Jd:- Must have working knowledge of HPDC process inputs — aluminium alloys, ingot grades, HPDC consumables
(plunger tips, release agents, shot sleeves), die tooling, and sub-contract services.Develop and execute the annual procurement plan aligned with production schedules, NPD requirements, and
business budgets.Source and qualify suppliers for aluminium ingots, alloys (ADC12, A380, A356), HPDC consumables (shots,
plunger tips, release agents, coatings), tooling, and sub-contract services.Apply in-depth knowledge of HPDC process inputs — alloy chemistry, ingot grades, melt loss, die lubricants, and
shot sleeve consumables — to make technically sound procurement decisions.Monitor and control aluminium alloy procurement against LME-linked pricing; manage price variation clauses with
OEM customers.Drive supplier on-time delivery (OTD), quality (PPM/DPMO), and commercial KPIs through regular reviews and
corrective action plans.Manage import procurement — customs clearance, freight forwarders, documentation (BL, COO, MTC), and duty optimisation.Prepare and present monthly procurement MIS — cost savings, OTD, PPM, inventory health, and budget vs.
actuals.Ensure all procurement activities comply with company financial controls, three-way match (PO-GRN-Invoice), and
internal audit requirements.Hands-on exposure to ERP systems (SAP MM / Oracle / equivalent) for PO creation, GRN, and inventory
management. . Demonstrated experience in alloy procurement linked to LME-based pricing and managing price variation clauses.Consumables & Tooling Procurement (Dies, Inserts,
Shots) Raw Material Procurement (Aluminium Ingots, Alloys) Purchase Order & Three-Way Match Process . Cost Negotiation & Commercial Management. Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 supplier quality requirements — PPAP, supplier audits, corrective actions.
