This Holi, Let’s Talk About the Colors That Truly Build Organizations.

Red for ambition.
Blue for stability.
Green for growth.
Yellow for optimism.

Every high-performing organization is a blend of these colors — and at the center of it all is the right leadership.

In Executive Search, we’ve learned one powerful truth:
It’s not just about filling positions.
It’s about adding the right color to the canvas.

The right CXO can transform strategy into momentum.
The right leader can turn uncertainty into opportunity.
The right hire can redefine culture.

As we celebrate Holi, may your organization attract leaders who bring clarity, courage, and character.

Happiness is a choice.
Not because life is always easy.
Not because problems don’t exist.
But because how we respond to life is always in our hands.
We can’t control: Every rejection Every loss Every unexpected setback
But we can control:
Our attitude Our perspective Our effort to move forward
Happiness doesn’t mean everything is perfect.
It means choosing gratitude over complaints.
Choosing growth over regret.
Choosing hope over fear.
Some days will test you. Some phases will challenge you.
But even in the middle of chaos, you can choose strength. You can choose belief. You can choose peace.
Happiness is not found.

It is created — daily, intentionally, consciously.
Choose wisely. 🌿

Practical Tips for Work Stress Management
In the modern workplace, stress is common. Multiple factors, including heavy workload, deadlines, interpersonal conflict, and job insecurity, can contribute to it. Stress can have a negative impact on an employee's health as well as the productivity of the company. Therefore, it is imperative to develop effective stress management skills. We will go over some useful tips for dealing with stress at work.
1. Find out the origin of stress:
The first step in managing stress is to determine the cause. Consider for a moment what is causing you to stress at work. Is it the workload, the setting, the leadership, or the colleagues? You can take action to address the source once you've found it.
2. Prioritize your tasks:
Stress commonly occurs from feeling overburdened by a long list of duties. Create a list of tasks and rank them per importance and urgency. By doing so, you can priorities the most important tasks first and lighten your workload.
3. Take breaks:
Taking a break can help you feel less stressed. You can relax, recharge, and refocus by taking breaks. To relax your mind, try going for a brief walk, stretching, or practising meditation. Remember that taking breaks increases productivity rather than being a sign of laziness.
4. Utilize time management techniques:
Stress reduction requires effective time management. To plan your time and make sure you meet deadlines, use a planner or calendar app like Google Calendar. Multitasking should be avoided as it can increase stress and decrease productivity.
5. Talk to your colleagues:
Stress can be brought on by poor communication. Make sure to have respectful and effective conversations with your coworkers. By doing this, you can stay clear of misunderstandings and disputes that could result in stress.
6. Practice self-care:
Self-care is essential for stress management. Make sure to eat a balanced diet, exercise frequently, and get enough rest. Use relaxation exercises to look after your mental health, such as yoga or meditation.
7. Seek support:
If your stress level is growing, ask a dependable friend, relative, or coworker for help. Also, you can get expert assistance from a therapist or counsellor.
Although stress at work is common, it can be controlled efficiently. You can lessen stress and boost productivity by identifying the source of your stress, setting priorities, scheduling breaks, practicing time management, communicating with coworkers clearly, practicing self-care, and getting help. Keep in mind that stress management is a process that requires time and effort to complete.

Building a Second Income:

Lately, ’I have been noticing something.
So many people are busy chasing side hustles and second income ideas that they’re slowly drifting away from their main job.
Not because they don’t care — but because they’ve been made to feel that a regular job isn’t enough anymore.

Here’s the irony:
For most of us, our primary role already offers the biggest opportunity to grow — better skills, stronger credibility, higher responsibility, and yes, better money over time.

If we put the same focus, consistency, and hunger into our core work that we put into these so-called quick wins, the results could be far more meaningful.
There’s nothing wrong with earning extra income. But there is a problem when online advice makes people believe they’re failing just because they aren’t juggling three income streams.
In the pursuit of quick money, an entire generation risks losing sight of ethics and long-term values.

Sometimes, doing your main job really well is the smartest financial decision you can make.

It’s Appraisal Time: Are You Ready to Ask for That Raise?
It’s that time of the year again — the end of the financial year.
For many professionals, this is when thoughts naturally turn to salary revisions and career growth. While asking for an increment can feel like a sensitive conversation, the right preparation can significantly improve your chances.
Here are a few practical points to keep in mind if you’re planning to negotiate a raise while staying in the same role:

✅Give yourself time to prove value. Ideally, complete at least six months in a role before initiating salary discussions. This allows you to demonstrate consistency, ownership, and measurable impact.

✅Time your request wisely. The best moment to ask for an increment is after a notable achievement—closing a major deal, acquiring a key client, or delivering a successful project. Momentum matters.

✅Be open to holistic negotiations. If a salary hike isn’t feasible immediately, explore alternatives such as performance bonuses, retirement benefits, learning budgets, or commuter allowances.

✅Seek regular feedback. Ongoing performance reviews help you understand both your strengths and improvement areas, and provide solid talking points when justifying a raise.

✅Invest in your skill set. Certifications and formal training enhance your professional value. A well-rounded skill profile strengthens your case far beyond experience alone.

✅Stay consistent post-increment. Sustained performance after a raise is
critical—not just for retaining increased compensation, but also for future
Growth and promotions.

Increment conversations aren’t just about money—they’re about value, timing, and long-term growth. Plan smart, communicate clearly, and keep delivering results.

Being Yourself is the Ultimate Power Move

Lately, it’s been impossible to ignore the buzz around Akshaye Khanna. With two massive hits crossing 800 crore, everyone is talking about him. Influencers are making entire videos just to ride the wave of his name. But where is Akshaye? Nowhere to be found. While the world shouts his name, he’s likely somewhere quiet, tucked away from the noise, just being himself.
It’s easy to say we admire a "loner" when they’re winning. But let’s be real—would we have the guts to walk his path?

It’s one thing to be a recluse when you have back-to-back blockbusters. It’s a completely different story when you look at the 17 years before this, where the hits were few and far between.

Akshaye didn't stay out of the spotlight to build a "mysterious brand." He stayed away because that’s who he is. He’d rather be a master of his craft than a slave to public opinion.

Then you look at someone like Shah Rukh Khan. He’s the total opposite—the "King of Showbiz." Even with thousands of crores in the bank, he’ll still dance at a wedding and give his all to the crowd.

People might judge him for it, but SRK isn't "selling out." He genuinely loves the energy, the marketing, and the people. He’s being just as true to himself as Akshaye is.

The real lesson here?

There’s no "right" way to be successful, there’s only your way.
Akshaye doesn’t force himself to be a showman, and SRK doesn’t pretend to be a hermit. They both stopped caring about what the world expected of them a long time ago. They leaned into their own skin, put in the work, and let the results speak for themselves.

Don’t get caught up in trying to look perfect for other people. Find what makes you tick, lean into your natural rhythm, and just keep moving forward.

As long as you’re making progress in your own eyes, you’re already winning.

Gen Z is not the problem — unrealistic pampering is.
Many corporates try to impress new Gen Z hires with over-the-top treatment, unrealistic expectations, and unnecessary cushioning at the start.
But a few months later, the same employees face harsh work culture, pressure, and rude behaviour — leading to shock, dissatisfaction, and attrition.
Instead of pampering them in the beginning and disappointing them later, give them what truly matters from Day 1:
✅ A fair and impartial work environment
✅ Good mentoring and real guidance
✅ Clear expectations and consistent values
✅ Respect, transparency, and accountability
Gen Z doesn’t need pampering —
They need honesty, structure, and meaningful growth.
That is the best service you can give them.
