Valuenect Solutions LLP is recruiting Sr. Engineer – R&D for one its client. Details follow:
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop firmware code for products, Work on testing the code and bug fixes, Work on documenting the work accomplished
2. Develop embedded software to meet specific system and hardware requirements
3. Proficient in Embedded Software Development and enhancement preferable in Embedded C.
4. Knowledge about Micro controllers, UART, i2C, I2S, Clocks in micro controller, and basics about capacitors, resistors, inductors etc.
5. Design of system test scenarios and test plans with input from bug reports, individual test set-ups, software requirements, technical specifications, engineering, marketing, and QA.
6. Troubleshoot and support for software deployed.
7. Develop embedded drivers and software to run on IoT devices.
8. Firsthand Knowledge of working on Power Systems, LED Drivers, SMPS, Wireless Technologies.
9. Thorough knowledge in writing the firmware and conceptualization
10. Define and develop hardware/software interfaces and document software designs
11. Debug and integrate software on product hardware, specifically board bring- up, Assist with design changes and software updates
12. Support Manufacturing Engineering in the development of production and calibration software
13. Coordinate with the team for conceptualizing, designing, developing, and enhancing the product quality, features and process to meet the firmware requirements.
14. Prototype Development, Testing, Quality Validation and providing samples for Production, Quality and Service.
Location : Bangalore (Work from office only)
Prerequisites:
Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication,
Proficiency in designing, building, and debugging embedded systems, good understanding of C programming language knowledge A passion and curiosity for sensors, embedded and electronics.
Technical Skill Set:
1. Experience in C, Embedded C, Python, MATLAB
2. Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, sensors
3. Hands-on with RTOS
4. Experience in Communication Protocol such as Modbus, Field Bus and Profibus would be an added advantage.
