# # # 💡 Important rules you must know
1. If you work on a statutory holiday:
Employer must give **at least 48 hours’ notice**
Must arrange an appointed holiday **within 60 days** before/after
2. With mutual agreement:
Alternative holiday can be taken **within 30 days**
3. **NO salary in lieu** of statutory holiday
Violation → prosecution → max fine **HK$50,000**
4. Keep records of all changed holidays for your protection
